From ‘Greatest Weakness’ to Greatest Hire: Outsmarting Tough Interview Questions
Friday, June 20th | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Navigating a job interview can be challenging, especially when faced with difficult or unexpected questions. In this interactive session, job seekers will learn how to confidently handle tough interview questions, including curveball inquiries, illegal questions, and those about employment history. Topics covered will include explaining employment gaps, addressing why you left your last job, and crafting a strong response to "What is your greatest weakness?" Attendees will gain practical strategies, legal knowledge, and confidence-boosting techniques to approach interviews with ease and professionalism.

Pitch Perfect: Fine Tuning Your Interview Responses! is an ongoing, monthly workshop organized by workNet DuPage. 

Objectives:

  • Better understand what employers look for and value during interviews 
  • Master common job interview questions 
  • Explore strategies for how to handle challenging or unexpected questions
  • Make a great first impression through nonverbal communication

By the end of our workshop, participants should feel better equipped for their upcoming interviews and more confident about their chances of success.
