ACME Industries is seeking experienced CNC Turning Machinists for the 2nd shift to operate different CNC turning/lathe machines in their shop utilizing FANUC operating systems. VTL (Vertical Turning Lathes) experience is preferred. You will be operating machines for valuable castings/forgings to manufacture them into quality parts for customers. Typical hours are Monday – Friday, 4:20 pm to 2:50 am. Must be available for overtime including weekends and during peak production times. This position offers a hire-on-bonus. Hourly Pay Range: $26.00-$32.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Job duties:

• Follow written instructions and read and apply blueprint specifications.
• Performs a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exact tolerances and finishing specifications.
• Able to perform simple set-ups of many jobs. May operate more than one machine.
• Checks parts for conformance to specifications.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
