Inventory Clerk

Ace Metal Crafts is seeking an Inventory Clerk to join their team to ensure ACE’s inventory/receiving responsibilities are completed accurately, timely and safely. Position Reports to Shipping Manager. There are receiving, team and inventory control responsibilities.

  • Receive all packing slips and materials that arrive to the cage.
  • Compare packing slip to PO and create receipt in M1.
  • Keep receipts in dedicated location and give to data entry at end of each day.
  • Receive customer supplied parts, consult with the PEs as needed to correctly identify the parts and the jobs they are for.
  • Create manufacturing receipts for manufactured parts ie) kanban parts.
  • Complete warehouse transfers on parts moving between Ace 1 and Ace 2.
  • Move received materials to proper locations.
  • Materials ordered to inventory with a bin location are dropped into bin location.
  • Materials ordered to inventory without a bin location should be given a bin location and parts should be stored there.
  • Supplies and miscellaneous items brought to “appropriate” person or location.
  • Receive outside service parts. Match with routing and move to next operation.
  • Customer supplied parts should be received direct to the job they are for, but also moved into a bin location.
  • Manage the Supply Cage work area to ensure it is clean, organized and functioning appropriately.
  • Add storage systems as needed for additional purchased items.
  • Assign and manage bin locations for new or obsolete items.
  • Use the cycle count grid to count necessary parts daily and maintain accurate inventory counts in M1.
  • Keeps area organized and clean.
  • Unload inbound trucks with forklift or overhead crane as needed.
