PRC is hiring an Art Program Manager to coordinate and support quality and community-building art programming at PRC. The Art Program Manager will report to the Vice President of Programs. This role will coordinate and deliver a variety of art programs by supporting volunteers and participants and ensuring that activities align with the established program goals. This position is full-time, 40 hours/week and will have an office at PRC’s Wheaton location, with a significant amount of coordination with other PRC and partner sites. While not required, there is a preference for candidates to be bilingual English/Spanish speaking. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle as travel to local community sites is required.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver PRC’s art programming, including KidsArt, onsite, offsite, and virtual classes and workshops. Participate in the design and improvements of in-person, online, and hybrid models to provide art programming.
- Respond to inquiries and requests about the Art Program via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Register clients for the Art Program and make appropriate internal and external referrals.
- Facilitate and support classes, workshops, and program communication with participants. Prepare classrooms and materials for instruction, including organizing supplies and operating instructional tools such as kilns, projectors, and other equipment.
- Recruit, schedule, train, and support art program volunteers and interns. Provide coaching and guidance to support effective volunteer classroom instruction and to ensure a positive classroom experience.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records in collaboration with the Volunteer Department Coordinator.
- Maintain and utilize program data systems to track participation and program activity. Implement program evaluation and outcome measurement tools that ensure program effectiveness.
- Collect and report program outcomes, participant feedback, and other data. Assist in creating and disseminating specific Art program marketing materials to increase enrollment in programs.
- Build positive relationships with appropriate PRC staff members, volunteers, and community organizations to maintain high levels of program involvement.
- Establish, implement and monitor program services, goals, objectives and budgets for art programs.
- Participate in and support implementation of PRC strategic goals.
- Develop collaborative programs with other PRC departments, as well as on and off-site locations.
- Plan and implement student exhibitions and community art events that showcase program art.
- Work with the Vice President of Programs to recommend and implement strategic initiatives for the art program.
- Assist in developing PRC’s relationships and visibility within the DuPage art community.
- Represent PRC by attending and participating in community meetings and events as requested.
