DuPage County Health Department’s Public Health Services team has a new opening for a Children’s Health Supervisor. In this position you will be managing and coordinating staff assigned to multiple program areas with the ability to manage field staff working in community-based locations throughout the County.
Salary is $70,875.00 annually. Some responsibilities are the following:

  • Plans for and assigns responsibilities to staff responsible for providing community based and case management services.
  • Coordinates service delivery with community partners including schools, medical providers and non-for-profit agencies.
  • Completes medical practice compliance services.
  • Completes chart and file audits.
  • Ensures ongoing training of staff; interviews, hires and trains assigned staff.
  • Identifies and resolves employee relations and performance issues.
  • Provides appropriate leadership and direction and promotes positive morale, creativity and teamwork among staff.
  • Evaluates employee performance and sets clear goals and expectations.
  • Collects and compiles statistics and data related to various programs across Family Health Services.
  • Prepares and monitors various reports on operations, billing and activities and presents finding to the Assistant Director of Family Health and the Director of PHS Clinical Operations.
  • Responds to public inquiries and resolves complaints.
  • Collaborates with other supervisory staff to develop department priorities and goals.
  • Develops integrated procedures and practices to ensure consistency of service delivery.
  • Monitors and analyzes program outcomes and implements quality control processes.
  • Makes recommendations and initiates improvements to increase efficiency,
  • Improve quality of services or result in other positive operational impacts.
  • Keeps up to date on procedural changes impacting service delivery.
