The Forest Preserve has a Computer Support Analyst position to fill. This position supports the district’s Information Technology by coordinating and performing a full range of services including computer/application support and installation.
Salary is $50,440 – $56,784 per year, eligible for performance review and possible pay increase annually. Responsibilities:
- Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for computing tasks.
- Provide end user support related to Microsoft Office 365 suite of products and various third-party applications.
- Provide end user support related to FPDDC hardware including laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices such as IOS IPads and IPhones.
- Maintain hardware inventory of computing district assets using Microsoft Intune and Kaseya VSAX RMM.
- Perform imaging of FPDDC computers using Microsoft Intune.
- Perform setup and configuration of mobile devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Administer and Maintain Microsoft Intune environment.
- Administer and Maintain Asset Inventory and Patch Management module.
- Perform new employee IT orientation of Microsoft Office suite and third part applications.
- Monitor and provide problem resolution for the district’s helpdesk environment.
- Coordinate computer/software purchases: determine system requirements, obtain pricing, availability and compatibility information, submit purchase requests, and track shipment of systems.
- Act as liaison to third party vendors for maintenance and repair.
- Keep knowledge current with technology advancements.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support the district’s needs.
