TransChicago Truck Group seeks a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join their team. The Continuous Improvement Coordinator (CIC) is responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement in alignment with the vision of TransChicago Truck Group and Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) Elite Support. The CIC will maintain Elite Support and safety requirements through personal effectiveness, problem-solving, training, coaching, and change management. In addition to CI objectives, the CIC will also support safety goals set forth by TransChicago Truck Group. Compensation: $50,000-$55,000 base salary. Compensation will be determined based on experience, competencies, certifications, and education, and benefits are offered. What you need to succeed (Skills):

  • Promote a culture of Elite Support Continuous Improvement and workplace safety.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Elite Support criteria and safety initiatives and goals.
  • Plan & lead Change Management Team meetings.
  • Facilitate 5S projects.
  • Create process mapping and instructional layout.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting requirements.
  • Maintain all Smartsheet material for internal and DTNA use.
  • Monitor and report operational metrics and KPIs.
  • Lead safety team meetings and manage compliance training.
  • Provide forklift training to employees on a scheduled basis.
  • Participate actively with DTNA network.
  • Assist with new hire Elite Support and ARC training & orientation.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
