Parts Town has a Continuous Improvement Engineering position to fill. As the Continuous Improvement Engineer, you are critical in helping the Fulfillment Center Team operate at its very best. You will be joining an existing team within the Fulfillment Center that seeks out areas of opportunity and drives change. Your team will utilize LEAN and 5s methodologies while working with floor leadership to optimize the Fulfillment Centers. You will assist with process improvement projects, storage optimization, labor management, system enhancement roadmaps, and helping with workstation design and improvements. You will help their Quality Team in the identification and elimination of root cause issues.
Salary range is $68,486.58 – $92,658.32. Responsibilities are listed as the following:
- Analyze existing Fulfillment Center processes and assess short comings / gaps.
- Using LEAN and 5S methodologies, drive change across our Fulfillment Centers to improve efficiencies and reduce waste while improving general flow.
- Drive overall Fulfillment Center quality through process improvement.
- Work with our training team to develop and implement preferred methods and labor standards.
- Work with floor leadership to identify and plan waste reduction projects.
- Promote culture of continuous improvement within the Fulfillment Center organization.
- Contribute to planning and development of major Fulfillment Center initiatives.
