Jel Sert seeks a Control Systems Technician to join their team. The Control Systems Technician will be responsible for designing, creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machines that use PLCs to automate processes. Additionally, one will also be responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving any electrical and mechanical problems as well as performing all routine and basic equipment maintenance on machines.
This position may require the employee to work in excess of 40 hours per week. Overtime is scheduled based upon individual job responsibilities and the needs of the department.
Minimum compensation for the Controls Systems Technician is $31.01 per hour. Regular full-time corporate employees of Jel Sert are eligible for their benefits programs, which can be reviewed here.
Responsibilities:

• Programming: Create and optimize programs that control and monitor machines to make production processes efficient and safe
• Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair issues with PLC-driven systems
• Design: Reprogram existing machines
• Support: Provide continual support for PLCs in various operational environments
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Complete work assignments in a timely fashion with minimal direction.
• Evaluate all machinery and provide a list of needed improvements.
• Focus on machine efficiency issues and process improvements.
