Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is seeking a digitally fluent, concept-driven, multi-discipline Copywriter to join our in-house Brand & Creative team. This role is ideal for a versatile writer who can move seamlessly between brand storytelling and performance-driven messaging—bringing a consistent, compelling voice to life across campaigns, content, email, and SMS.
As a Copywriter, you will help shape how Cooper’s Hawk shows up across the full guest and member journey—from brand campaigns, social content, and experiential moments to high-impact email and SMS communications. You will partner closely with Art Directors, Designers, Strategists, CRM, Digital, and Analytics teams to develop creative that balances elevated brand storytelling with clarity, urgency, and measurable results.
This role is ideal for a rising creative with strong conceptual skills, a versatile tone of voice across platforms, fluency in digital and social storytelling, and a sharp command of short-form persuasion. A passion for hospitality, food, wine, culture, and guest experience is essential.
Salary range is $75,000 – $85,000. - Brand, Campaign & Content Copy:
- Develop creative copy across major brand and marketing initiatives, with a focus on digital, social, and omnichannel campaigns.
- Partner closely with Art Directors and Designers to concept and execute creative ideas from strategy through execution.
- Write across a wide range of touchpoints, including brand campaigns, paid and organic social, website content, app content, in-restaurant storytelling, menus, signage, and experiential brand moments.
- Support storytelling for seasonal initiatives, product launches, Wine Club programs, restaurant openings, and cultural moments.
- Maintain a strong understanding of premium, lifestyle-driven brand marketing and stay current on cultural, editorial, and advertising trends.
- Uphold Cooper’s Hawk brand voice and standards with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all work is cohesive, consistent, and on-brand.
- Email, SMS & Lifecycle Communications:
- Write and optimize email and SMS copy across marketing, Wine Club, and guest lifecycle communications.
- Develop subject lines, preview text, body copy, CTAs, and SMS messages that drive engagement, reservations, visits, and member participation.
- Translate brand campaigns and creative ideas into concise, compelling owned-channel executions.
- Adapt messaging for different audiences, occasions, urgency levels, and personalization strategies while maintaining brand integrity.
- Collaborate closely with CRM, Digital, and Analytics partners to align messaging with segmentation, timing, and performance goals.
- Support testing and optimization efforts, including A/B testing, tone variations, and message refinement based on performance insights.
