The DuPage County Health Department seeks a Crisis Services Technician – Overnight to join their team. The Crisis Recovery Center is a place to help residents de-escalate, stabilize, and connect to community resources catered to their individual mental health and substance use treatment needs. The building design and operations will ensure individuals, and their families feel welcome, respected, and secure throughout every step of their care. The CRC serves as an alternative to hospital emergency departments and simplifies access to crisis care for all individuals, families, and first responders.
Salary is $32,552 with a $2.50 shift differential. Responsibilities:

• Supports maintenance of a safe, therapeutic environment for clients seeking services through Crisis Residential and Crisis Recovery Center programs.
• Facilitates client safety and quality care in Crisis Residential and Crisis Recovery Center Programs, through completion of client rounding, and belongings checks.
• Assists with client medication observation in Crisis programming.
• Performs tasks related to maintaining environmental standards in crisis programming.
• Completes grocery shopping and supply inventories.
• May facilitate transportation of our clients in a county vehicle.
