Aqueity is looking for a Finance Manager to lead their financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, including experience in a leadership role. The Finance Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies and policies, managing accounting, monitoring and reporting systems, and providing financial advice and guidance to senior management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills are required. Candidate should be hands-on and willing to dig through the weeds, systems-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, providing assistance as needed.
  • Play vital role in overall business operations, working with company leadership to establish finance and accounting objectives.
  • Provide accurate financial reports/metrics to company leadership on the status of customer accounts.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities, and perform necessary follow-up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive customer account problem investigations and resolution as required.
  • Oversee invoice preparation based on billing cycles utilizing ConnectWise and assist as needed.
  • Assist in processing employee time and expense reports.
  • Process biweekly payroll.
  • Conduct credit checks on prospects and report results to management.
  • Complete month-end close.
  • Maintain customer financial information and status in ConnectWise Business Management Platform and QuickBooks.
  • Oversee weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc billing as necessary, including distribution of invoices to clients and exporting invoices to QuickBooks.
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
  • Ensure consistency of existing accounting systems through creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries with billing and invoicing; establish payment plans when necessary.
  • Communicate escalated issues to customers, keeping them informed of their account regarding billing and invoicing.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and mentor those on the finance/accounting team.
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to financial duties and responsibilities.
