The Morton Arboretum has a Gift Processing Coordinator position to fill. This position will be responsible for day-to day coordination of gift processing activities and transactional reporting. Maintains complete and accurate records of gifts received and reconciles daily activity of all data flowing into the constituent relationship management (CRM) platform from third-party applications.
The expected hiring range for this nonexempt position is annualized at $50,000-$53,000 based on experience that will be evaluated during the candidate selection process. This position is also eligible for a competitive benefits package.
Essential Functions:

  • Set priorities, process gifts, and coordinate all gift-processing activity.
  • Create audit reports and other metrics to assess data integrity, making recommendations on where opportunities exist and where improvements should be made. Create reports for transactions and events as requested by colleagues.
  • Maintain constituent and gift records in accordance with best practices and organizational processes.
  • Partner with the Manager of Development Operations to assess, develop, and implement policies and procedures to guide accurate database utilization, data entry, gift processing, and reporting, and to protect sensitive donor information.
  • Coordinate the data flow from third-party data applications, such as online e-commerce and plug-in platforms, into the CRM and subsequent reporting.
  • Recommend areas for process improvement and coordinate technology enhancements for efficient gift processing.
  • Act as one of the team’s CRM superusers, maintaining a high level of understanding of database functions and processes.
  • Assist with departmental special events and projects as required.
