Mobilear provides hearing conservation services to many different types of businesses. They test and train employees in the suburban and Chicago area.
They have mobile units that are equipped to conduct the hearing testing on site.
Technicians will drive the Mobilear unit to the company and set it up.
Conduct hearing testing and educational training sessions on board the mobile unit.
You will go thru a thorough training time in which you will be:
– instructed on how to drive the mobile unit.
– instructed on how to conduct the testing and training.
– you will attend a 3-day training course on hearing testing.
Once trained you will work independently aboard the mobile unit. Prior to testing a schedule is set up and you will have contact information and directions to the plants.
Most plants are located within a 30-mile radius of office.
Hours vary from day to day. They schedule a month in advance. They need someone from 2-4 days per week. Most workdays will be 4-8 hours occasionally longer.
They are flexible on the days and can change depending on your schedule with enough advanced warning.
Salary is $20.00 an hour.
