Must be a hardworking, motivated individual to join the team in a working management role. This is a hands-on landscaping position involving consistent physical labor, field work, and team leadership in a variety of outdoor conditions.

• Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform and oversee physically demanding tasks with strength, stamina, and determination.
  • Provide hands-on support and training to field staff to ensure quality project outcomes.
  • Identify plant types and ensure proper planting based on site conditions and environmental needs.
  • Maintain plants, including watering, pruning, and all aspects of proper horticultural practices.
  • Complete seasonal color rotations in-ground and in container pots.
  • Support the landscape maintenance teams through direct field work and supervision.
  • Oversee and ensure proper care of shrubs, trees, perennials, and annuals.
  • Work closely with the WDS Manager to implement appropriate horticultural practices and controls.
  • Collaborate with the Landscape Architect/Design Team for project coordination and successful implementation.
  • Participate in sales efforts, including client consultations, plant selections, and project proposals.
• Qualifications:
  • Strong physical fitness and endurance to perform strenuous tasks daily.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in horticulture, landscaping, and plant care.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to train, supervise, and motivate field staff.
  • Ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Sales experience or willingness to learn client-facing sales support is a plus.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and passion for the landscape industry.
