Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. They are seeking at Job Coach/Caregiver to join their team. Hours of this position are Monday- Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM. Starting base rate is $17.25/hr. With at least of a couple years of behavioral experience they could offer an experienced rate of up to $19.00/hr. They are hiring immediately and offer paid training. CNAs and DSPs are encouraged to apply. $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time positions ($1,000 paid after 6 months and $1,000 paid after 1 year). They offer a comprehensive benefits package.
You will make a difference in the lives of the residents who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in the following ways:

• Work directly with clients in the implementation of training programs and service plans.
• Assist clients with personal care needs including grooming (brushing hair, brushing teeth, shaving), toileting, feeding meals, showering and dressing.
• Monitor progress in goals including continuous data evaluations each month.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Observe and properly Implement Behavior Management plans including proactive and reactive strategies.
• Assist in the implementation of vocational and recreational group activities and community outings.
• Assist clients with volunteer as well as paid work onsite and in the community.
