American Academy of Pediatrics is seeking a Manager to develop, lead, and implement marketing strategies, a scalable recruitment plan, and communication efforts to drive recruitment, adoption, and implementation of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) CHILD Registry by members and facilities. Responsibilities:  

  • Develop best-in-class clinical marketing programs, sales tools, and standards for sharing registry progress and to drive recruitment and adoption of the registry and its data to various stakeholder audiences, including members, c-suite hospital administration, informaticists, researchers, payers, government organizations, industry partners, and life science organizations.
  • Identify recruitment opportunities and implement a scalable recruitment plan to achieve CHILD Registry growth goals for practices, hospitals, and health care systems.
  • Develop and scale marketing assets and communications to promote the value of the CHILD Registry to AAP member pediatricians and pediatric stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with AAP member pediatricians and their care teams, hospitals, healthcare organizations, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop pricing strategies for various stakeholder audiences interested in pediatric registry data. Conduct market research of children’s hospitals, community hospitals, and primary care and pediatric specialty practices willingness to pay for the use of registry data for benchmarking and value-based payment. Build relationships with payers, researchers, and industry partners to ascertain registry sustainability strategies.
  • Implement and scale marketing best practices for registry development through networking; peer-to-peer programs; and committee, council, section, and chapter relationships.
  • Develop messaging and standard promotion materials to engage members, hospitals, and health care systems interest in the registry.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant AAP staff to manage the development and execution of marketing plans and implement new marketing solutions to market challenges using all appropriate channels, including e-mail; digital and print advertising; webpages; and social media.
  • Implement messaging frameworks that can be localized for member marketing programs.
  • Build strong relationships with AAP committees, councils, sections, and chapters to ensure successful localization and amplification of clinical marketing content and capturing the voice of pediatricians. Through these relationships, provide feedback for strategic priorities to increase the CHILD Registry value proposition.
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales tools, assets and videos which can be localized by AAP staff and members based on their needs and priorities.
  • Build and maintain a public facing website to communicate registry build and implementation progress to AAP members and staff.
  • Develop and maintain a collaboration site for CHILD Registry participants and stakeholders.
  •  Implement and oversee the registry’s e-commerce system in collaboration with IT staff.
  • Utilize analytics to execute data-driven market penetration, segmentation, and mapping.
