Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant. This unique role combines clinical care with transportation responsibilities to ensure seamless service for patients and providers. You’ll perform vital clinical and administrative tasks such as taking vitals, scheduling appointments, assisting with dictation, and processing labs and specimens, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. In addition, you’ll travel to various locations, assist with homebound patient care, transport providers, and manage fleet vehicle maintenance and cleanliness. Candidates must hold a current BLS certification and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
The Medical Assistant is a member of the health care team primarily responsible for providing support to physicians, nurses, and other licensed medical staff by facilitating efficient patient flow, assisting with various patient care activities, and performing related administrative functions. The Medical Assistant is responsible for ensuring efficient patient flow through the clinic; maintaining neat, clean and safe patient care areas; promoting patient satisfaction by interacting with patients in a professional, friendly manner; safeguarding patient confidentiality.
Salary range is $19.74 – $24.68 an hour. They are offering a Sign-on Bonus.
