NEWT, a small medical transport company based in Lombard, is seeking a full-time driver for one of their MediVans. Most of the work is within 15 miles from Lombard. The job entails picking up wheelchair bound clients from both private homes and facilities and transporting them to medical appointments. Vehicles are all side entry minivans that have been converted for use. You will need to have the ability to push someone that may weigh up to 300 lbs. in a wheelchair into the van and properly secure them using the provided chair restraints. This is an opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives.
-CDL license is not required
-For insurance purposes, you must be at least 25 years old. You must have a very good driving record.
-Ideal candidate is someone who is a people person that lives near Lombard.
-You are paid as an independent contractor, you will be provided a van, insurance, fuel and maintenance. No expenses on your part.
