The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County is hiring for an On-Curse Concession Attendant at the Maple Meadows Golf Course. This position conducts sales of food and beverage items on District golf courses using a motorized cart or an on-course concession station.
Position starts on or after March 16th. Variable schedule during the golf season based on business needs, may include weekdays and/or weekends. Shifts may be any time between 7 AM and sunset. Pay: $9.00 per hour, plus tips. Benefits: Restaurant discounts, pro-shop discounts, and golf privileges.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food items such as hot dogs, sandwiches, and snacks to golfers.
• Follow BASSET guidelines for checking Identification and stopping service to individuals that appear intoxicated.
• Operate coffee machines, draft systems, food warmers, cookers, and convection ovens.
• Monitor the age and condition of food products and follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) practices in food preparation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, and organized workstation including equipment, tables, shelves, and floors. Ensure that workstations are adequately stocked with food items and supplies and that equipment is in working order.
• Operate a Point-of-Sale system to process customer payments.
• Operate a beverage cart and golf carts.
• Document and reconcile inventory of food and drink items.
• Foster a working environment that promotes safe work habits; Become familiar with and observe all applicable safety rules, policies, and work procedures; Follow all safety rules that pertain to the duties performed and support all aspects of the District’s safety and risk management program; Keep work area clean, orderly, and free of hazards; Immediately report all unsafe conditions and incidents.
