Parts Town is seeking a Principal Could/SRE Engineer to join their team. The Principal Cloud/SRE Engineer will be building disaster resilient, cloud native systems and services that require a great cloud strategy at its foundation. Success in this role is realized by bring our cloud strategy and capabilities to life, along with clear standards, policies and procedures around how scalable cloud practices are built and maintained.
The salary range for this role is $129,193.92 – $172,862.98. Responsibilities are listed as the following:

• Own the Principal Cloud/SRE Engineerural Artifacts by networking, Implementing level architecture for scalable IaC strategies.
• Contribute to and maintain our organization wide Architecture Decision Records.
• Responsible for Cloud Policies, Procedures and Standards Including disaster resiliency, recovery and availability planning, IaC (use and quality gating) and Cloud technology stack/services consultancy and selection in accordance with technical and quality requirements (scalability, performance, security, compliance).
• Accountable for our Cloud Operational Practices such as Cloud infrastructure TCO modeling and optimization and Capacity planning by continuously monitoring of the utilized resources and demand trends.
• Manage relationships with cloud service providers/vendors to ensure smooth operations and support.
• Govern and ensure compliance with organizational security practices and auditing.
• Drive best in class cloud strategies (Knowledge transfer, training, mentoring of cloud practices across the engineering organization).
