MedGyn Products, a rapidly growing manufacturer and distributor for medical devices, is seeking a Production Supervisor with dynamic skill sets to work in an energetic, fun, and fast-paced environment in the medical device industry. The individual will work closely with the Operations Manager to make sure products are manufactured and distributed following all ISO 13485 standards. The Production Supervisor plans, organizes, and controls operations by effectively utilizing resources, materials, and machinery to assure timely production and quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises Production Teams and works closely with the Operations Manager in ensuring that products are manufactured and distributed following all ISO 13485 standards.
  • Responsible for quality product workmanship, methods application and improvements, and economical manufacturing costs, as well as meeting production schedules, and workflow.
  • Plans, organizes and controls operations by effectively utilizing resources, materials, and machinery to assure timely production, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinates set up, operation and maintenance of machines (including injection molding devices) among production staff.
  • Exercises good business judgement in helping to develop long-range goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing quality programs.
  • Ensures that employees, equipment, materials, and areas of operation conform to all appropriate health and safety regulations.
  • Supervises departmental housekeeping and maintains awareness as to any hazardous conditions.
  • Conducts monthly inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Approves and schedules employee vacations.
  • All other duties as assigned.
    Job Qualifications:
    • College associate degree
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supervision
    • Experience in production of medical devices preferred
    • Experience in managing Injection Molding Machine operation preferred
