ACME Industries is seeking a detail-oriented professional to take on a key role in performing complex shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities for aerospace, defense, and precision manufacturing products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ERP systems and a commitment to accuracy, ensuring proper documentation, packaging, and on-time delivery in full compliance with customer, regulatory, and company standards. This is a 1st shift position with the hours being 7 am- 5:30 pm. Hourly Pay Range: $25.00-$29.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Job Duties:

  • Manufacturing Support
    • Move required materials to work centers
    • Retrieve and store fixtures
    • Empty scrap hoppers
    • Daily duties as they apply to housekeeping and/or 5S
  • Shipping Operations
    • Load vans and flatbed
    • Prepare and package shipments per customer specifications.
    • Generate bills of lading
    • Schedule pickups and manage freight arrangements to meet customer deadlines.
  • Receiving Operations
    • Unload vans and flatbeds
    • Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage.
    • Process receipts in ERP system, tagging materials and routing to appropriate storage or production areas.
    • Coordinate with Quality Control for receiving inspection and documentation.
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/MRP systems (Made2Manage).
    • Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and root cause investigations for variances.
    • Stage and issue materials to production per work orders and priority schedules.
