The Corporate Office at Ace Hardware is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager. The Talent Acquisition Manager will help to design and execute the attraction, sourcing and talent selection strategies for our corporate office and Exempt Retail Support Center (RSC) positions. They will be accountable for providing the strategic roadmap for delivery of full cycle recruiting and staffing strategies. They will work closely with a varied level of stakeholders including senior business leaders and HR colleagues to drive talent acquisition solutions.

  • Help support training and development of Recruiters and drive sourcing and recruiting methodology.
  • Manage resources and provides direction for prioritizing workload within segment to ensure attainment of service level expectations.
  • Work as part of a team on talent acquisition projects and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Manage a recruitment load, overseeing all components involved in the recruiting process from the intake meeting to the completion of the search partnering with various departments.
  • Provide outstanding internal and external service, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Consult with hiring managers to understand the required skills, competencies, the impact on the role, and the ideal fit to the team and company’s initiatives and strategy, updating, advising and coaching hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Use traditional and non-traditional recruiting techniques to attract and evaluate talented candidates, building applicant talent pools by researching and contacting community services, Universities and Colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining reports.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; evaluation assessments; comparing qualifications and competencies to job requirements (responsibility for a small requisition load).
  • Responsible for creating a positive candidate experience from beginning to end and making sure it is applied amongst the team of recruiters.
  • Partner with Manager of TA Operations to maintain a regular cadence of reporting on key performance indicators and progress against goals.
