TOX Pressotechnik has a Welding & Joining Technician Internship opportunity. The Welding & Joining Technician Intern supports the manufacturing team by assisting with basic welding, joining, and fabrication tasks while learning proper techniques, safety standards, and production processes. This is a hands-on, entry-level position ideal for students or recent graduates interested in welding, metal fabrication, or manufacturing trades.
High School diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled in a technical, trade, or manufacturing program). No degree required; technical training or proven field experience strongly preferred.
Hourly starting range – Entry-Level: $19/hour; Mid-Career: $20/hour; Senior-Level: $21/hour. Benefits: Generous 401K plan; Medical, dental & life insurance available to employees with 30> hours weekly; Paid holidays; Vacation & personal leave; Tuition/training reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Assist experienced technicians and engineers with daily production tasks.
• Perform basic welding/joining operations under supervision.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain and clean and organized work area.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment safely.
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement and learning initiatives.
• Prior experience in industrial machinery, automation, or press systems is highly valued.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions with the ability to communicate findings to team members and supervisors.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
