DuPage County Workforce Innovation Board issues RFP

Organizations promoting job readiness for ages 16-24 invited to apply

Do you provide high quality educational and/or employment services to young adults in DuPage County? Are you creating innovative programs and achieving successful outcomes? If so, the DuPage Workforce Innovation Board (WIB) wants to hear from you!

The DuPage County Workforce Innovation Board invites youth service providers to apply for grants totaling up to $600,000, with $400,000 maximum awarded per contract. The financial award(s) will sponsor creative programing designed to increase job readiness, expand work experience, and generate employment opportunities for In-School Youth and/or Out-Of-School Youth (ages 16-24). 

 

Successful projects will:

  • Demonstrate commitment to innovative programming
  • Involve strategic collaboration (partnerships among employers, community-based organizations, educational institutions, and others) 
  • Drive positive outcomes for participants and the broader community

 

Applicants may include individual or joint proposals from: 

  • Educational institutions
  • For-profit companies
  • Non-profits
  • Public agencies
