Naperville Community Television (NCTV17) is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Annual Giving Officer to secure the necessary financial support to advance their mission and meet the station’s fundraising budget.
In this multifaceted role, the Annual Giving Officer will use expert communication skills and a keen sense of initiative to spot develop fundraising opportunities. They will create, manage, and implement an annual fundraising plan, including individual and corporate donor campaigns, to meet financial goals. They will cultivate and steward strong relationships with donors and external stakeholders to maximize engagement with the station leveraging existing relationships and the current donor database. Due to the nature of this opportunity, the position is not remote. Responsibilities:
Donor Cultivation and Stewardship
Develop and maintain relationships with individual donors, major donors, and potential donors through personalized communications, donor recognition events, and one-on-one meetings.
Create cultivation plans to engage donor segments and deepen their connection to the organization.
Implement stewardship strategies to express appreciation for contributions, including personalized acknowledgments, donor recognition programs, and impact reporting.
Conduct prospect research to identify potential individual and corporate donors.
Create compelling donor campaign materials, including direct mail, emails, and social media content.
Budgeting and Reporting
Manage the fundraising budget in collaboration with the senior management team.
Monitor fundraising performance against targets and provide regular reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
Database Management
Maintain accurate data entry procedures, gift processing protocols, and clean data practices in the organization’s DonorPerfect database.
Generate reports and analyze fundraising data to assess campaign performance’s ROI, monitor donor retention, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Fundraising Events
Work with the senior management team on fundraising events to expand the donor base and increase current donor engagement with the station.

To get this job, you typically need a Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with electrical, hydraulics, programming, and mechanical PLCs is required.
We pay $2.00 per hour shift differential for all time worked on 3rd shift. *Rate of pay depends on one’s experience, education, and skills.

All Technicians are sent to College of DuPage for classes. Technicians are scheduled for a series of six mechanical and six electrical classes. Classes are during work hours, so Technicians are paid for their time in class. We adjust their hours to spend half their shift on the floor and the balance in the class. Jel Sert pays for this training which includes classroom and lab work. All Technicians are involved in this training despite their experience level.
