Career Conversation & Hiring Event

September 25th, 2024

This two-part event offers a special way for local job seekers to connect with local employers.

9am Career Conversation Panel Discussion (Registration required)

The panel discussion typically fills to capacity, so register early!

The first part of this event, the Career Conversation, will feature local hiring specialists from four local employers: Campbell's, Lions Club International, International Paper, and Chemring. The panel will speak about their hiring processes, offering their best dos, don'ts, and other advice for applicants. Seating is limited and you must register to attend this portion of the event. Attendees of the panel discussion will have early access to the Hiring Event, before it opens to the general public.

11am Hiring Event (Open to all, no registration required)

No registration is required for the Hiring Event.
Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the Hiring Specialists on a first come, first served basis.

The second part of this event, the Hiring Event, does not require registration for entry. During this portion, attendees will have the opportunity to meet briefly with representatives from each of the five Career Conversation employers. This is a great opportunity to meet Hiring Specialists face-to-face and to learn more about company culture, open roles, and hiring processes.

Attendees: be sure to bring multiple copies of your printed resumes!
