DuPage County offers a wealth of free job seeker resources. Listed here are a few of our valued community partners.
  • People’s Resource Center:
    Individual job coaching during and after the job search. Resume writing assistance and a variety of workshops including ESL and computer training.  Additional services include clothing and food bank.
  • College of DuPage Career Services and Financial Aid:
    Career services staff assist individuals with developing employment plan and job search strategies.  Webinars and workshops offered in resume building, social media, LinkedIn, job search planning and Interview preparation. Financial Aid offers varies grants and scholarships to assist with tuition.  Free financial aid workshops are available.
  • Goodwill Workforce Center Lombard:
    Goodwill Workforce Connection Centers provide a range of services aimed at helping individuals find employment and improve their job-related skills. These services typically include career counseling, resume writing assistance, interview preparation, job leads and regularly scheduled employer recruitment sessions.
  • Your Local Public Library’s website. Visit the adult or business services department for assistance with:
    • Online career exploration, career assessments, etc.
