The Recovery and Manufacturing a Path Up (RAMP-UP) programĀ helps individuals in recovery from substance use disorders acquire marketable technical skills in preparation for in-demand manufacturing careers. Eligible students receive a blend of classroom instruction and independently guided online learning based on the nationally recognized Manufacturing Skill Standards Council's Certified Production Technician curriculum.Ā The program is designed for people in stable recovery who have a support network in place.

From Homeless to Hopeful

The pilot began in October 2018, and the first cohort of students has had successful outcomes. Four of the six students achieved Certified Production Technician status, and all six students have secured or are in the process of securing related employment or promotions.
