From Layoff to Launch is a free webinar connecting laid-off DuPage County residents with proven, no-cost career resources and support.

What you’ll learn

  • How to apply for up to $10,000 for job training, certificate programs, or professional development while collecting unemployment benefits.
  • How to access free career coaching, job search workshops, resume reviews, and mock interviews.
  • How to file for unemployment insurance benefits and what to expect after filing.
  • What health insurance coverage and 401(k) options may be available after a layoff.

Participants will receive practical guidance from representatives of the DuPage County Workforce Development Division, the Illinois Department of Employment Security, and the U.S. Department of Labor. The webinar will also include time for questions and answers.
