The Assistant Shipping Supervisor coordinates the efforts of a labor force of approximately 10 employees to perform shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution duties. Departmental safety, productivity, and quality are key drivers of performance. The minimum compensation for the Assistant Shipping Supervisor is $26.26 per hour. Responsibilities:

• Issues job assignments to ensure orders are picked up and loaded according to schedule.
• Evaluates and determines course of action on loading, receiving, and storage problems.
• Develop solutions to achieve departmental goals.
• Covers alternate shifts as needed.
• Completes required paperwork.
• Preparing for upcoming work assignments and/or projects.
• Coordinate repairs of material handling equipment needs within the facility.
• Monitors department safety and procedures, ensuring all employees are trained accordingly.
• Address performance and personnel issues as necessary.
• Works with the department supervisor in developing solutions.
• Support P3 operations as necessary, meeting expected time constraints.
• Act as WISE WMS system resource for all HQ activities.
• Supports corporate and production departments as needed on special projects and tasks.
