HYDAC is currently seeking a qualified Manufacturing Engineer to join their team at the Glendale Heights CNC machine shop. The Manufacturing Engineer will design and commission processes to assist with New Product Introduction, support the shop floor, ensure that design standards are being met, practice cost and productivity improvements, and coordinate/exercise functional authority for planning, organizational, control, integration, and completion of projects. Salary range for this position is between $75-95k. They offer medical, dental, vision PPO health benefits, pet insurance, matching 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
Tasks:

• Provide technical support to manufacturing departments.
• Develop new processes for new product introductions.
• Design and ensure that production assembly and test methods are optimized and are consistent in meeting cost targets.
• Develop assembly and detail tooling drawings, floor layouts, and manufacturing cells.
• Check drawings and design work as needed.
• Assist Materials Department in the selection of vendors.
• Establish product acceptance criteria through preproduction runs.
• Work with vendors to ensure the most economical manufacturing processes and tooling.
• Assist the Quality Department in the development of procedures and work instructions.
