As a Counselor, in conjunction with supervisor and treatment team, you will provide chemical dependency counseling services to patients and their families/ collaterals through assessment and design, implementation, and revision of treatment plan. You will and provide group and individual counseling, community support, case coordination and crisis intervention services to clients with a primary substance use disorder diagnosis.

- Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Complete assessment of each client.
- Initiate and sustain each individual’s motivation to participate in treatment.
- Develop a comprehensive service plan for each client.
- Provide daily treatment and curriculum-based education groups.
- Required:
- Current licensure – LSW, LPC or CADC.
- Two (2) years’ experience working with Substance abuse. Preferred.
- Two (2) years of counseling experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to exercise discretion and use independent judgment in making decisions.
- Ability to promote positive behavior and manage resistant behavior.
