Coordinate Machine Company is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Machine Shop CNC Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) milling machines used in the manufacturing process. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Pay range is $20.00 – $22.00 an hour. You will get 5 paid holidays and 70% health insurance paid.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC milling machines (mainly vertical) to produce precision parts according to blueprints, engineering plans, and production schedules.
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions of machined parts.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
• Deburring sharp edges.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Maintain accurate records of machine performance and production activities.
  Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with machine shop tools and equipment
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
