Jel Sert is hiring for a Production Supervisor for their Blending Department. The 3rd Shift Production Supervisor – Blending Department is responsible for supervising employees to maximize safety, quality, and productivity. Key responsibilities include daily production scheduling, lot control, inventory accuracy, reporting, sanitation, housekeeping, and adherence to standard operating procedures. Assures correct preparation of powder (order, weight-outs, etc.). Shared responsibility for new methods e.g., 5 S, standardize work, methods improvements, and computerized weigh out system. Base pay is $29.37 an hour with the shift differential to be paid for all time worked on 3rd shift is an additional $2.00 per hour. Job Functions:

• Safety (line inspections, department safety audits, safety meetings).
• Quality (high-quality production, quality audits, clean environment) HACCP, Verification of CCPs.
• Lot control, inventory accuracy, and reporting.
• Develop and operate within SOPs.
• Cost/Production efficiency, maintenance, and strategic planning for the continuation of production.
• Sanitation and housekeeping.
• Employee relations issues.
