The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor – Freezerbar Department will supervise employees to maximize safety, quality, and productivity. Key responsibilities include daily production scheduling, lot control, inventory accuracy, reporting, sanitation, housekeeping, and adherence to standard operating procedures. Assures correct preparation of powder (order, weight-outs, etc.). Shared responsibility for new methods, e.g., 5 S, standardized work, method improvements, and a computerized weigh-out system. Minimum compensation for the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is $29.37 per hour. Due to this being a 2nd shift opportunity, the shift differential to be paid for all time worked on 2nd shift is an additional $.50 per hour. Regular full-time corporate employees of Jel Sert are eligible for their benefits programs that can be reviewed here. 2nd Shift Scheduled Work Hours: 2:00 pm to 12:00 am Monday – Saturday, with OT as needed.
You will be handling responsibilities on the following:

• Safety (line inspections, department safety audits, safety meetings).
• Quality (high-quality production, quality audits, clean environment) HACCP, Verification of CCPs.
• Lot control, inventory accuracy, and reporting.
• Develop and operate within SOPs.
• Cost/Production efficiency, maintenance, and strategic planning for the continuation of production.
• Sanitation and housekeeping.
• Employee relations issues.
