The Huntington Learning Center of Glen Ellyn now looks to hire more tutors. They are also seeking tutors for the Bloomingdale area and Downers Grove area. This is part time. They need to hire for both basic Learning Center work and for Standardized, college-entry test (ACT and SAT) prep tutors. Learning Center teachers must be certified teachers. Test prep tutors must have a bachelor’s degree and the ability to score well on the test sections which they would like to teach. Work is done Monday through Thursday evenings from 4:00 to 8:00, and on Saturdays in the morning and early afternoon. Teachers typically average between 8 and 18 hours per week. They are not open on Fridays and Sundays. Current and retired teachers, substitute teachers and teachers’ aides are all encouraged to apply.
