Mobile Hearing Technician

Mobilear provides on-site hearing testing services to companies throughout the Chicago metropolitan area, primarily serving manufacturing facilities. Their services are delivered via fully customized mobile hearing testing units. They are currently seeking a reliable and independent technician to join their team. The technician will drive a Mobilear unit to client locations and conduct hearing tests and educational training sessions onboard the mobile unit. Additional responsibilities include basic maintenance of the mobile unit (i.e. cleaning, checking oil) and occasional administrative or office-related tasks. Pay rate is $25.00 an hour.
- Training & Requirements
- A paid 3-day training course will be provided for certification in hearing testing
- Training will also include operation of the mobile unit
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
- A Type B driver’s license is required to operate the vehicle (not required at time of hire but must be obtained after training)
- Schedule & Hours
- Part-time: 3 days per week
- Schedule is set one month in advance which offers flexibility in scheduling with advance notice
- Location
- Most job sites are within a 30-mile radius of their office
