Parts Town seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Sr. Maintenance Technician, you will be the top level of support for the mechanical systems in their Fulfillment Center. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex problems and performing mission-critical repairs on equipment to keep the Fulfillment Center fully operational. You will work closely with vendors and internal partners to diagnose problems and perform repairs over a wide range of material handling equipment to support safe and efficient operations. Salary range for this role is $67,150.30 – 82,072.59 annually. - Perform advanced preventative maintenance on conveyor systems in the distribution center including sorters, powered conveyors, truck loaders, and other material handling equipment.
- Using prior knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and computer-controlled equipment to diagnose root cause of complex problems.
- Perform emergency repairs on the most complex equipment as needed.
- Training level 2Â technicians and apprentices in proper maintenance, repair, and inspection methods.
- Perform daily visual and auditory inspections of the equipment, noting and addressing issues found.
- Perform advanced diagnostic tests as needed and coordinates support activities with 3rd party vendors.
- Act as top-level support for fire/sprinkler systems, standby generator, HVAC equipment etc. and other equipment within the fulfillment center.
- Climbing ladders, using forklifts, scissor lifts, saws, drills, hand tools, etc.
- Partner with the Fulfillment Center leadership team to understand mission and supports needed operational changes through planning and executing directives.
