BACK TO WORK

Back-to-School, Back-to-Work was first introduced in the fall of 2023, when Choose DuPage, College of DuPage, and workNet DuPage jointly presented a FREE workshop series preparing parents for going back to work.

 

The response to this program was so positive that Back-to-School, Back-to-Work has become an annual event.

We look forward to seeing you in September 2026!

 

National Recognition
Back to School, Back to Work was awarded recognition from the National Association of Counties in 2024

Back-to-School, Back-to-Work addresses the needs of an important segment of DuPage County's population:
parents returning to work after taking time off to care for family.

  • Develop a strong understanding of what information to include or omit from a resume

  • Optimize resume content and format for keywords and accomplishment statements.

  • Walk away with next steps for action including resume writing resources and opportunities for resume reviews.
