We also compile a PDF with monthly selection of helpful job search programs offered throughout DuPage County. Ranging from hiring events to digital literacy courses, networking events to legal consultations, these free events are an excellent resource for all DuPage residents! These events are FREE and located in DuPage county.
Join us for a Mini Community Resource Fair! (These are resources one may need during a job search such as housing assistance, food, clothing, applying for health insurance on the ACA marketplace or Medicaid, etc.)
Connect with Bret Kuras from DuPage County Community Services, Robin Lavender from DuPage County Health Department, and Joe Pearson from U.S. Dept of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration, who will provide information on health insurance coverage after a layoff (COBRA, HIPAA, ACA) and retirement benefit tips after a layoff.
