ACME Industries is seeking experienced Okuma 5-axis Machinists to operate their CNC machines utilizing the OSP-P300 CNC Control. You will be operating machines for valuable castings/forgings to manufacture them into quality parts for customers. Typical 1st shift hours are 6:00 am-4:30 pm and 2nd shift hours are 4:20 pm-2:50 am Monday – Friday. Availability for overtime, including weekends and during peak production times, is a plus. This position offers a hire-on-bonus. Hourly Pay Range: $27.00-$29.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Job duties:

• Follow written instructions and read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Performs a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exact tolerances and finish specifications.
• Able to perform simple set-ups of many jobs. May operate more than one machine.
• Checks parts for conformance to specifications with precision gauges.
• Read and react accordingly to Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) reports.
• Complete problem-solving activities with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
