The Illinois Tollway has a Fiscal Operations Manager position to fill. The Fiscal Operations Manager will participate and advise the finance department on Tollway-wide project teams. The Fiscal Operations Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ability to understand, interpretate, and identify trends in data.
- Analyze information, evaluate evidence and consider multiple perspectives to draw logical conclusions.
- Develop models and methodology to track Fiscal Operations division metrics.
- Work with staff to monitor projects – provide regular updates. Prepare and communicate reporting of operational and performance statistics to senior management. Project Management: Position Description.
- Prepare, develop, and manage Request for Proposal (RFP) process with Finance department as well other areas of the Tollway.
- Participate on Tollway project teams with the evaluation of bids and system/process development through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identifying and communicating potential changes with management and development teams.
- Work with Finance management and other Tollway departments to identify and document potential projects.
- Develop project plans and work with project teams to implement agreed upon scope and provide guidance through implementation.
- Manage and perform oversight throughout entire project process to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
- Communicate project status and outcomes with multiple internal and external parties.
- Oversee day-to-day activities of Project Administrator.
- Back up Senior Fiscal Operations Manager duties when staff member is unavailable.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by division’s senior leadership.
