Nova Metals is hiring a Machine Shop Associate to support daily shop operations. This role is best suited for someone with experience in machine shop work, sheet metal fabrication, tapping, and deburring. They are seeking someone who is hands-on, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a production environment. Pay is $18.00 with paid time off.
Responsibilities:

• Perform tapping operations on metal parts based on job requirements.
• Deburr metal parts using hand tools, grinders, files, and other shop equipment.
• Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, thread quality, and overall workmanship.
• Assist with part handling, sorting, staging, and movement throughout production.
• Support operators and production staff with general shop tasks.
• Follow work instructions, job travelers, and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Prepare or package parts for the next operation as needed.
• Help ensure finished parts meet Nova Metals quality standards.
