Altorfer CAT seeks a Sales Representative to join their team. This is an outside sales role with daily driving and frequent customer visits and occasional overnight travel (approximately 3–4 nights per month). You’ll also spend time in the office and shop building proposals, coordinating builds, and overseeing deliveries. Salary is $50,000 – $150,000. What you will be doing:
- Develop and grow new and existing customer relationships within your sales territory.
- Identify opportunities, evaluate customer needs, and recommend appropriate engine and power solutions.
- Plan and execute a strategic sales approach aligned with long‑term business objectives.
- Deliver effective sales presentations and close business to meet or exceed annual sales goals.
- Manage accounts, opportunities, and pipeline activity using CRM tools.
- Coordinate proposals, custom engine configurations, and deliveries with internal teams.
- Stay current on product offerings, factory lead times, pricing, and marketing programs.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism through ongoing training and industry involvement.
