The Ray O’Herron Co., Inc. is a Police and First Responder Supply Company. They are in search of an Experienced Seamstress for their Alteration Department. The ideal candidate must possess both quality and speed in sewing abilities. Seeking an individual with close attention to detail and quality work. Alterations will include but not be limited to putting on patches, stripes, and hemming pants. Seamstress is responsible for completing all alterations and sewing services necessary to meet customers’ needs. Must be able to work independently and at the same time, work well with others. Must be able to work 1-2 Saturdays per month on a rotating basis for three hours (9:00am-Noon). During the week, hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. Starting pay rate is $20.00 an hour. Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience with alterations of clothing.
- Ability to use a sewing machine, do hand stitching and use other equipment as needed.
- Ability to read a ruler and adjust uniforms and clothing.
- Verifiable work experience.
