Perma-Seal has an Inventory Control Clerk position open. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, conducting regular audits, and coordinating inventory replenishment. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical abilities, effective communication skills, and a solid understanding of inventory management principles. Essential job functions:
- Perform regular inventory counts, ensuring accuracy between physical stock and records.
- Utilize inventory management software/systems to update and maintain inventory data.
- Conduct routine audits to identify discrepancies, investigate causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure proper stock organization, storage, and labeling.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment request to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Assist in the coordination of shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes.
- Analyze inventory reports to identify slow-moving items, obsolete stock, and potential stockouts.
- Generate accurate inventory reports and provide insights on inventory performance to management.
- Investigate and resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
