Edward Don and Company has a Merchandising Analyst position open. This position is responsible for tracking and the disposition of an on-hand inventory that is on hold, aging, obsolete, expiring or non-moving, ensuring that vendor credits are processed and reported to Finance and various reporting responsibilities. Responsibilities:

• Manage new item data and existing item characteristics.
• Manage discontinued items and assist in finding replacements.
• Manage Sales Promotion & Zip Code Report processes for the assigned product categories.
• Manage and communicate supplier cost changes.
• Review all pricing variances.
• Manage supplier discounts and exception net costs for Don auto quotes.
• Implement and track promotions for Advisors, Hot Sheets, Supplier Expos, etc.
• Review in house contract rebates for vendor support opportunities.
• Assist Associate Category Manager and/or Category Manager and Marketing/Merchandising team with other projects as needed.
• Support product and supplier conversions by providing reporting.
• Responsible for the reporting of all spiffs, promotions, and contests keep Manager informed of issues within area of assigned responsibility.
• Escalate issues beyond scope of authority to appropriate parties.
