Blistex is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. The Quality Assurance Inspector I can have responsibilities in two areas: QA Receipt Inspection and QA Production Inspection. The position is responsible for sampling and inspecting incoming packaging and chemical raw materials for conformance to regulatory and Company standards. He/she ensures that everything required to complete a designated batch (raw materials, components, caps, bottles, and the packaging) is correct. The position is also responsible for the issuing of batch records and monitoring the quality of production. Some responsibilities are the following:

• Evaluates each receipt for conformance to purchase order requirements.
• Verifies the integrity of shipping containers and ensures that each container is properly labeled.
• Samples each receipt based upon a statistical sampling plan.
• Inspects sampled items, following established Company specifications, by using visual evaluations and measurement devices that can include scales, rulers, micrometers, and calipers.

• Serves as primary case manager for 10 clients, provides skill training to meet client’s assessed needs and to enable clients to live as independently as possible
• Acts as client advocate to facilitate access to resources and services and works collaboratively with providers to achieve client goals and to aid clients in crisis situations.
• Develops and maintains client IM+CAN’s and completion or coordination of other required forms and acts as liaison between healthcare resources and clients.
• Participates in client staffing and team meetings and maintains collaborative relationships with co-workers to effectively support clients.
• Demonstrates effective, independent judgment and discretion while making task-related decisions.
• Meets established productivity standards and completes accurate and timely documentation of services provided to clients.

The DuPage County Health Department has a Public Health Nurse position available at their Family Health Services Department in Addison. Hours are generally 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, and 1 of the days, working from 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM. Occasional evenings and Saturdays. Responsibilities:

• Provides direct public health nursing, family case management, WIC nutrition counseling, and breastfeeding support to clients.
• Administers nursing services to pregnant, infant, and children in a clinic and community setting.
• Provides home visits, physical assessments, and referrals for high-risk infants, and children identified through the adverse pregnancy outcomes reporting system (APORS).
• Applies fluoride varnish to infants and children’s teeth in a clinical setting.
